Why do you find it difficult to exercise regularly?
People live busy lives and their health takes a backseat. Staying active and healthy is all too often viewed as a luxury they just can’t afford. Even when they do have time for exercise, they don’t know where to start or feel intimidated by the world of fitness.
So how do we create an app that promotes the importance of regular exercise that’s inviting, encouraging and feels easy?
Fitto is not for the fitness freak. There’s is no expensive physical equipment or subscription associated with the app like fitbit or peloton. It’s free and low commitment to encourage new users that would normally feel too intimidated to enter the digital fitness tracking space. Our philosophy is even a little exercise goes a long way to living a healthier and happier life.
After drafting a journey map, I decided what features were critical to the app and created a site map and some wireframes.
Quick and easy template workouts, that can be user edited for custom tailored workouts.
Individual exercise detail pages with video tutorials and instruction on proper form to avoid injury.
Progress tracking, workout reminder alerts, and encouraging words.
I finished off the mock ups with with some exercise illustration to give it a sleak yet approachable look.
